Besides the CVC, what other security measures does YesStyle take when I place an order?

To provide a safe online shopping experience and protect customers from unauthorized credit card use, YesStyle works with Retail Decisions to check transactions for fraudlent activity. Retail Decisions (ReD) is one of the leading fraud prevention companies in the e-commerce industry with over 20 years of experience.

Can I change my payment method after I’ve placed an order?

After your order has been placed, but before it has been shipped, you may change your payment method from a credit card to a non-credit card payment method. However, you cannot change your payment method from a non-credit card method to a credit card.

For example, you may change your payment method from credit card to PayPal, direct deposit, or check or money order payment. However, you may not change your payment method from PayPal to credit card. Please ensure that you have selected your preferred payment method before confirming your purchase.
 
To change your payment method, please contact Customer Service before your order is shipped out. If your order has already been shipped out, your request to change payment method cannot be processed.

When will my card be billed?
We guarantee that your credit card will not be billed until your order is shipped out.
Can I pay with someone else's credit card?
Yes. For security reasons, however, our Accounting Department may contact the rightful cardholder to verify the order and the identity of the cardholder. Please note that paying with someone else's credit card will lengthen your credit card verification process and you must receive prior consent from the rightful credit card owner.
How does CVC work?

The CVC is generated by encrypting the credit card number and expiry date with an encryption key known only to the issuing bank. This number is not stored on a credit card's magnetic stripe, so it cannot be collected during normal offline purchases, and will not appear on any sales receipts or billing statements. As such, the only way to obtain the CVC number is to have the card in one's possession. After entering the CVC during an online transaction, the number is sent to the issuing bank to verify that the card number and CVC match. This validates that the credit card user had the actual physical credit card in hand when they placed the order.

How are refunds handled?
All transactions are billed when the order is shipped out; therefore, we typically do not issue refunds.  If we do need to issue a refund, it will be in the form of YesStyle Store Credit.

What credit cards can I use to shop on YesStyle.com and YesStyle.com.au?
We currently accept major international credit cards including VISA and MasterCard. YesStyle guarantees that your online transactions will be secure and your credit card information will be protected. For more information about the safety of your online transactions on YesStyle, please read our Privacy & Security Policy. All transactions are billed only when the order is shipped out. We guarantee that you will not be billed for any additional charges not associated with the order.
What currency will be used for my credit card charges?
All transactions made in YesStyle.com.au will be charged in Australian currency (AUD) only.  If you would like to complete the transaction with US currency (USD), please place the order in our Global Site.
My credit card statement includes an additional fee related to my transaction with YesStyle.com.au. Why did this happen?
YesStyle.com.au uses an Australian payment gateway for its credit card transactions, and payments are handled in Australian dollars (AUD). Some banks or credit card companies will charge transaction fees for international purchases, which will be reflected on your credit card statement as an extra charge. Please confirm with your bank or credit card company for details of their foreign transaction fees.
What is CVC?

When paying via credit card, you are required to input your credit card's CVC number each time you place an order.

CVC (Card Verification Code) is an authentication procedure established by credit card companies to provide greater security for Internet transactions. Also known as CVV (Card Verification Value) or CSC (Card Security Code), this 3 or 4 digit code is different from the standard credit card number, and can be found on the front or back of the credit card depending on the type of card. By entering the code during online transactions, the card holder verifies that the card is currently in their possession, thereby reducing the risk of credit card fraud.

Where can I find the CVC number on my credit card?
On VISA or MasterCard credit cards, the CVC is a three-digit number located at the back of the card, usually in the signature stripe or to the right of it. On some cards, the CVC number is printed on the back of the card after a full reprinting of the credit card number, or the last four digits of the credit card number. Please note that the CVC number is a different number from your standard credit card number.
Will my CVC number be stored with my credit card profile?
No. For your own security, YesStyle will not save your CVC number in your credit card profile.
What is your credit card verification procedure?
Most credit card verifications are done automatically online by our payment gateway.  We understand, however, that providing maximum protection to our valued customers is essential.  Thus, we may ask our customers for additional credit card information such as monthly credit card statement copies or actual copy of credit card in order to ensure that we are dealing with the rightful cardholder.  This process is not required for every transaction and is in place to minimize the possibility of unauthorized usage of your credit card. During the credit card verification process, your "My Account" order status will be displayed as “Verifying”.  The verification usually takes 1 – 2 business days, longer if our Accounting Department requires additional information.
